speaking of pools...

As most of you know.. Jillian is terrified of water. Doesn't like it in her face, doesn't like leaving the steps in a pool, won't go under... even as bad as panicing when the water starts getting to high in the bath tub. so.... it's time... SWIMMING LESSONS!! Today's our first lesson.. Jillian is at 5, and Lucas and I are at 5:30.

Luci's Birthday

Since the 1st week of school, all I heard about was how excited Jillian was that Luci wanted to invite her to her birthday party! Days passed, weeks passed, months passed and never got the "invite". Jillian somewhat forgot about it, bringing it up occationally. I would ask, "When IS Luci's birthday?" J: "I don't know but it's coming soon!" So finally February 13th, I pick Jillian up and we're walking to the car when I hear "JILLIAN!!!" and I can immediately tell it's Luci's little voice. We turn around and here comes Luci with her dad, invitation in hand. *drum roll please* It's Luci's Birthday Party Invitation! (6 months later). Jillian was so excited to go! And even though she threw a HUGE embarrassing tantrum when it was time to go, she still got invited back to come over and play anytime! (minus the tantrum of course...)
