Shaun's boss, wants to get rid of his '97 Ford Explorer. It's in excellent condition, minus the exhaust leak and the damage to the drivers back end. You see, it was involved in an accident 5-6 months ago, nothing major but the guy's kid didn't want to shell out $4000 to fix it, so it sat in the driveway. Shaun showed interest and from there it was ours.
Shaun's boss is letting him work overtime and instead of paying him the O/T he's keeping it as payment for the vehicle. He'll only have to do a couple hours a day for two months. Not bad for a little more room for us and the kids! Shaun took it to our friend Jeff (who works at a body shop) and it'll only cost us about $300 to fix all the damaged on the rear (not bad compared to $4000!), and he's going to get it detail cleaned on the inside, and she's good to go!!
Oh and dont worry, lil Blue (my Saturn) isn't going anywhere..he's my first 'new' car....I can't toss him to the curb!!

Congrats on your "new" vehicle. You are going to love the extra room. So are you guys going to have three cars now?
Actually we have 4 LOL! my Saturn, Shaun's S-10, Shaun's grandfather's 85 Chevy truck, and now the Ford... I need a parking garage!
Daryl looses his truck on Friday (his official last day of work..he hasn't found anything yet). We have a friend of ours Tahoe parked in the back RV area that he'll be able to use until he gets back from Iraq. So I take it Shaun found a job?
